For the past three weeks, we have had so much rain. Smithfield, just a few miles north of us has received 4.05 inches of rain in the first 11 days of June. The average is .7 inches for the month!
So we have had a lot of rain! The kids are going crazy inside, we have played playdough, colored, watched movies, and cut and glued until we can't take it anymore! The swings are soaked, the sand / play area is a lake and Spencer is out of school wondering what he can do.
Thank goodness we had a partly cloudy day today as opposed to a 100% chance of rain day. Spencer showed off his "camo" to any passing neighbor, and they all loved watering the newly planted flowers. I just hope they don't float away.
